Lamanchas are an American-bred dairy goat with short, gopher-like ears. They produce sweet, creamy milk with a high butterfat content. Known for their calm, sedate temperaments, these goats are ideal for our family farm and A2/A2 dairy.
At New Dawn Acres, we allow dams to raise their kids up to about 4 months of age before weaning. This gives kids the healthiest start for optimal growth and development. It also supports amiable herd dynamics. Pre-weaned kids are only separated from their moms during nighttime hours to allow for morning milking.
